Went on a short three day trip to Pisgah this weekend. The first night I went solo and enjoyed some good fishing, a beautiful moon and a clear night with great star gazing. I used the S. Mills River Trail, Cantrell Creek Trail, Wagon Gap Road Trail and Turkey Pen Trail to make a nice 12 mile sort of lolly pop loop. Then I picked my wife and daughter up and we went back down the S. Mills River trail for a 6 mile out and back overnight trip together. I let my daughter have total autonomy over the fire except for using the small bic, she couldn’t get it to work. I will take a bigger lighter next time. She was excited. Pisgah National Forest 10 23 15
