Offtopic but I think you guys might be able to help me. I play ultimate frisbee with a group in the winter, even if it is snowing. I've had a really tough time finding gloves that keep me warm and provide good grip.
I have tried the Under Armour Cold Gear Liner Glove under their Cold Gear Fleece Glove. This combination provides insufficient insulation though the grip is ok. I recently purchased the cloudveil Run Don't Walk Glove as a liner to a Grenade snowboarding glove (http://www.theclickworldwide.com/cc138-glove-black-p-9532.html). The Grenade glove provides very good grip but the combination does not provide sufficient insulation. Even adding the Under Armour Cold Gear Liner Glove as the first layer still provides insufficient insulation.
The insulation seems to be my biggest problem. After my body warms up, things are ok but I'm hoping to keep my fingers warm throughout the game, rather than having them feel like they are going to fall off. Any recommendations? I'd like to keep the Grenade snowboarding gloves as they provide a very good grip but that means what is on underneath it cannot be bulky. Or, if there is another combination that provides the warmth and grip, that's ok.
