On my last day of the CT this year, just a few miles from the trailhead, I was interviewed by Rawah Ranger. It was a short, pleasant conversation about my experience. He had hiked the CT before but this year was hiking the opposite direction in order to interview hikers along the way. I recently remembered the interview and checked his website and found that he had done an excellent job on his project. The first link is to a 5 minute compilation video and the second link is to my personal interview. I think it's great that he put all the interviews together so you can browse and see what others experienced. Fantastic hike and I really appreciate what he did so that I can go back and re-live those moments and the wonderful people I met along the way. Hope you enjoy. I met him just after San Luis Pass, and am in the interviews, too. Sorry I didn't get the chance to meet you on the trail. :^)
Hi Whalen. Happy to hear you enjoyed the interviews. I’ve been unhappy with the quality of the videos I’ve put together from the interviews, so I decided to take a workshop in digital storytelling. Recent videos have been much higher quality, and I am in the process of re-creating some of the videos I put out there, as well as creating new ones. Please check back in the next couple of weeks for new content. It was wonderful fun doing this project, and I get more excited about what might come out of it every day. Hope to see you on a trail again soon!
