the smallest Corona folding saw – 5.5 ounces – you can cut 6 inch limbs
I wish they had blade replacements. I just buy a new one every couple years. But really, the handle is cheap and not that much of an environmental degradation : )

“best” and “backpacking axe” are contradictory – no such thing – at least not on a lightweight backpacking web site : )
After I buy a new folding saw, I leave the old one at a campground for someone else. Still works, but just with more effort
Take a look at the Suluk 46 Uki Buck Saw.
It comes in at under 5 ounces with a 12″ blade.
