For winter? I take three season gear (which is to say, 20F comfort rated sleeping setup) to the coast all winter. Your clothing looks like overkill. I would take a pump filter – unless you are front country packing along the highway, getting water at faucets in campgrounds or in the occasional stream flowing into the Pacific, you will be in the Ventana where water sources are not always scoop-able. Springs can look like puddles/ Check with the FS – stoves are usually not allowed in Ventana unless it's rained quite a bit, ie winter. With the drought the bans have been the strictest possible – no smoking, nothing that sparks, nothing that burns, etc. You'll definitely not be able to have fires outside campgrounds.
Season? If not winter, then I'd drop the long underwear, the coast weather should be mild otherwise. The Sawyer Squeeze mini will work fine, but in case you have to use suspect water I'd also treat with chlorine dioxide tables for bacteria/virus that the Squeeze won't filter. I'd also drop the regular matches and use UCO stormproof matches, they're so much easier to use. K
Weather is pretty consistent in this region. A little more rain in the winter, not much. Usually 70s in the day and 50s at night year round. Thanks for all your help.
