I was out at Roosevelt lake in Yosemite (near Conness) and noticed at least half a dozen pink bone shaped floats in the water. Anyone know what those are about? Fish traps? Survey equipment stuff?

Those floats are probably gill nets to eradicate fish in the lake for the frogs. The lake is on the list for fish removal.
And the fish have been removed. At least, we didn't see a single one when we were there earlier this summer.
Well that makes sense. Poor fish. I wish they could re-home them vs fish genocide. I don't even like those endangered frogs. *Back to eating my tuna sammich *chompchomp*
