Does anybody have it yet, or can anybody comment on it? What's the verdict?
I've had a bad experience with a shaped tarp (from a different, but still well established tarp manufacturer) made out of spinnaker that wasn't built very well. I could never achieve a tight pitch with it: one or more of the side panels would always be saggy no matter how much I fussed with the guy lines, and this would inevitably result in flapping throughout the night. I don't own any MLD gear, but I've heard that MLD construction is really good and so I wouldn't expect anything so poorly made from them. But then again I have no idea what is and isn't possible with spinnaker. Can the Superfly tarp be well enough made that a drum-tight pitch is achievable on all the panels?
