I can understand Californians not having a clue about the suddenness of a flash flood coming from storms many miles away. But the was a Nevadan among them and Nevada REGULARLY AND OFTEN puts flash flood safety PSAs on TV. Just do not camp in a susceptible area ESPECIALLY DURING MONSOON SEASON, which we are in right now. This story is not only tragic but it was avoidable which makes it even more tragic.
