Anyone out there own a Rab Flashpoint who can tell me about fit? I see one on sale in XL. I normally wear large. I'm 6'2", 195. Do these run small? Brad

I bought the Flashpoint in the right size at a slightly higher cost. Thank you everyone for indulging me on this well worn topic. I love how I can reach a well-informed opinion on here through Socratic Method, or whatever you want to call it. In any case, I think this jacket fits the bill for a "true" lightweight rain jacket.
@Brad: I'm 5'11", 185. The large Flashpoint is a good fit on me. I have room for a light to mid weight insulation layer without being too sloppy over just a base layer. Sleeves feel a little long, reaching almost to my fingertips, but that also helps keep the hands dry. Hem length, however, is a little on the short side and girth seems a little on the slim side…comparable to a Montbell, but tighter than more mainstream US brands (Patagonia, REI, etc). If I were any bigger I would probably want a larger size, so my guess is that XL would work for you.
This thread has some posts on sizing: link Some relevant quotes from the above thread: “Otherwise, seems very nice — relatively generously cut for a size Medium … Were I to instead plan to use it exclusively as just a summer rain jacket, then I suspect that I probably could have gone down a size Small. (I’m 5’8″, 145 lb, 37″ chest, 32″ waist, 33″ sleeve, although the Rab MeCo 165 long-sleeve shirt fits me perfectly although generously in a size Medium, which is why I ordered the same size in the Flashpoint.)” – Jonathan Shefftz “I just measured the back – from the shoulders to the bottom hem is 30″ on a men’s L. I’m 5’7″ with a crazy long torso (thanks, dad…) and the length is just about perfect for me with a men’s L” – Jennifer Mitol
