I'm relatively new to BPL, and have been reading the forum more than I've been actually posting the last six months. I've been thinking of ways to contribute more, and here's an idea I had: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zxifGz-XvF18.kY9t-FwpCLgM&usp=sharing The link is a sharable Google Places Map showing a) where I've hiked, and b) where I'd like to hike. I was hoping it might start conversations like "Hey, I see you've hiked in Pinnacles National Park–any advice? What was your itinerary? Do you recommend?" Each person could have a linkable map…it might be fun to cruise around other people's bucket lists/hiking expertise/experiences! Hope this turns out to be a fun idea, and maybe I'm not the first.
