I've learned a lot lurking here and want to share my first MYOG pack. I took several design cues from well known packs and melded them into this pack. It has huge fabric side pockets like the ULA OHM, it has a top closure like the GG Mariposa and it has a flex frame like the Zpacks Arc Haul. The fabric is HyperD 300 and the straps are 1/4" 3D Mesh with hyperd. I appreciate all the designs and techniques that you all have shared! VERY well done! There's nothing like bringing so many of your favorite features into one piece of gear.

Looks great Todd! How was working with the hyperD? Did you use any foam padding for your hipbelt and shoulder straps? Weight? I love amalgams, yours is great. Your Zpacks mesh back panel and frame looks like it fits you perfectly. Very well done.

The HyperD was great to work with. There is a texture on it that helps the fabric to feed through the machine. The straps and hip belt are just 3d mesh and the HyperD, no foam. I was afraid it wasn't going to be enough padding, but it's fine. Haven't weighed it yet b/c I'm still tweaking on it. I'll post a final weight when I get it squared away. EDIT: Final weight 18 oz. including hip belt.
