Dyneema Socks! (Camp shoes?)

Neato…. I kind of want a pair just to walk around in, but man those are expensive.

Watch this video: http://gearjunkie.com/dyneema-sock-shoe The video doesn't state the weight (why do gear manufacturers assume no one is interested in this?), but my guess it's right in there with a mid-crew wool sock, which would be ~ 5 oz/pr. My personal choice is the Vincere Grip Sock (www.sandsocks.net), which have a neoprene sole and weigh a mere 3 oz/pr. They're available in a variety of colors, even pink, if you're so inclined, and work great for stream crossings and packrafting. Cost is around $29. Happy trails!

I've already seen this product for sale a few years ago, not sure if it was the same company, but a bit confused as too why we are seeing a kickstarter now.

I think they have kevlar socks before. What on kickstarter now is a dyneema version. Not sure if other company make similar products.
