Hey Dave, I used my supercat with a MSR Titan kettle with good success. I don't know the volume if the kettle off hand but it would seem close to your needs. The stove is dead simple to use, but a windscreen is mandatory for field conditions.
I've used one with a SP 700. You get some flame coming up the sides of the pot, so its not perfectly efficient but it will boil water no problem. That's normally the set I take when group hiking, since its relatively foolproof and reliable.

REI had the Evernew .8 ti kettle on sale last week for $35.00. It had handles as I recall and would seem to be a good match for an alcohol stove. Not as wide as the grease pot or Evernew .9 pot but just wide enough to catch most of the flame and heat for an efficient water boiler.
If you put a big dent in it you can probably get it down to .7L :-)
Titanium's siren call is powerful indeed.

Or take a Dremel to it. Then there would be a weight savings involved as well :P.

Dave,
What you're after is the Snowpeak STW-001T. If you do a search of the forums, you will come up with individual weights and volumes, but it includes a 560ml and 750ml pot. Both are bowl rather than mug shaped with handles.
This little beauty will run you RRP$40 for the whole set.
Regards, Rod
