Thru-hiker used to have it – anyone know where to find it now?
Its the stuff used for the human side of pack straps and pack panels.
Thanks!

I would have never found that…
I've dropped hundreds at rockywood already – Great shop.
Cheers!

Eric,

Putting 2 and 2 together, did you get your stretchy Scholler stuff in your poggies from rockywood? Is it dynamic or dryskin or do you know exactly what kind it is?

Chris,
I'm pretty sure the kind I have is the 6701-15 style under "other Nylons"

The price went up a bunch, it used to be only $9.95 a yard. bummer… I might need to order more soon.

Its super hard to tell the difference between that Schoeller and 6.5oz spandura fabric, they are very very similar fabrics.
cheers

I too had a hard time finding this. It was not until I actually visited the shop (about 20 minutes from my shop), that I sasw the roll. I could not believe it had been right there under my nose.

Enjoy!

Huzefa-

I called up Rockywoods for you, and they said that while they do not have any in stock now, they are expecting more in 2-3 weeks. Hope that your project can wait, I realize that might mean a long time until you get it.

Hope this helps

Ron

Did this ever come back into stock at rockywoods, or anywhere else? I have been occasionally checking their website, and have not seen it.

I guess I should have looked harder, it is available for sale at Thru-hiker. It is $9/foot though, if there is a cheaper source I would appreciate hearing about it!

I have not asked at Rockywoods recently. You can try giving them a call. I will try to remember to ask when I am at their office later this week otherwise.

Thanks for the offer Rod, but on your advice I did contact them myself. They are completely out of stock, but hope to get some more in "sometime after the first of the year".

I think I am going to try out some "foam mesh" I found at The Rain Shed. It is only $6 a yard (which works out to be 4.5 times cheaper than the 3D mesh at Thru-hiker) so it is worth a shot.

Foam Mesh

Used on backpacks, padded shoulder straps, bike seats and sport shoes

Item#: 3397 – Red

Width: 60"
Price/yd: $6.00/yd
