I was wondering what people have found to work for unshelled wool gloves other than the PossumDown ones. Something that keeps your hands warm and dry and has a lightweight and durability factor built in. Thanks.

Defeet Wool Duragloves is what Andrew Skurka uses…you might look into those.

Your average $5 Army Wool glove (http://www.gr8gear.com/catalog/Gloves/) is actually pretty decent for keeping your hands warm and isn't scratchy.

Alternately, Smartwool, Icebreaker, and (I think) Ibex all make "nicer" wool gloves…

Oh, and here's a link for those Defeet gloves – DuraGlove

I have a pair of the Smartwool glove liners and I think they are fantastic. They are amazingly warm for what they are.

Ya need leather palms or the gloves will quickly wear out.
