Hi everyone was doing the big seki counterclockwise. Got as far as the middle fork junction and bailed to bishop because of smoke. I have a ride to onion valley tomorrow morning was going to hike back to my car over kearsage pass and bubbs creek. Today the fire jumped the highway.
I know no traffic coming in but people are/were getting out. Called the rough fire hotline they said they were still letting people out but cedar grove i thik is shut down today. They told me to call the park for more info to be sure, anyone have inside scoop? I get the park recorded message for fire info as of aug 16.
