OK – let's do the Triple Tiara! I have a question for you New Englanders:
If I wanted to start in Canada and follow foliage south, when should I plan on hiking it? Last week in September be OK to start, or is that a week or so too late? Granted, there's no exact way to time it, but I'm thinking ball park here so I can block my schedule for the time off.

according to that you'd be okay. It will be pretty chilly so prepare for that and pretty light on people for the first half except for the big peaks.
have fun :) Camel's Hump and Mansfield are pretty nice peaks.
It will be quite the change from JMT. (i'd also like to do Triple Gem.. whatever.. LT down.. JMT and CT left haha)
