Greetings. My daughter is planning a vacation to Hawaii that might involve a bit of minor day hikes. She will be going from Sept 7 on for a week or two. Are bugs a problem?

They always were for me, anywhere near fresh water at least, or in tropical forest-y areas. Not in high country or at the beaches so much.
