I'm going to try out a couple of the RapidPure filters. These were reviewed way back when, and the Explorer models (although relatively heavy) seem to filter very quickly. For day hiking especially, this seems worth it.
My main concern is hooking this up to a drip system. Right now, I connect my Sawyer squeeze filter to a Tornado Tube and put a clean water bladder on the other end. I can try using connecting tubes, but the plastic tubes can pull out if the thing is hanging from a branch. You can still do it, but it is just more fussy. So, has anyone played around with this filter, and if so, what have you done?
