Uniqlo water defender jackets, $29

Thanks for posting! I just ordered one in size S. Pays to be scrawny sometimes. Was wondering if anyone knows the specs or has any general reveiws on this jacket? I did a quick search without luck. $30 won't sink the boat either way.

I the older (non-WR down) version with a hood, it's been great. It's about 2.5 years old now, so I don't know if they changed the sizing, but I normally wear a medium and had to size down to a small.

I also had the older hooded non DWR version a couple years ago. XL size. Seems like it was in the 10.5oz range and was good quality. It was pretty evenly filled and was warm to about 40F. Slightly less warm than the Montbell UL Down inner that I had at the time, but the Montbells more snug fit probably caused that.

At $30 this should be a terrific jacket.
