Chris,

That is a great time to head to the Wind River Mtns. You will have a good time.

I like your list for the expected conditions but I have a few suggestions and maybe you can clarify a few things.

Possibly missing items (or carried by other group members?):

* stove fuel

* back up lighter, matches

* cooking pot or are you heating water in the Ti mug?

Personal items (non-group) that may be missing:

* toilet paper or is that what the Kleenex is for?

* sunglasses

* bandana or small towel

* head beanie for quilt sleeping (or is down jacket hooded?)

* sunscreen lotion

* stakes for bivy (maybe already included in bivy listing?)

* Neoair. Original? Original has R2.2 IIRC. I would be a little cool. Maybe add a thin foam pad to goose up the insulation value. I could never get totally comfortable until I increased the R value to about 3.5; now I carry 3.5 to 4.0 and have no worries.

* sewing kit. Never needed it over many years until last year then it became important. Maybe this would be a good group item.

Other things:

* head net is almost certainly not needed. Maybe post a last minute request for conditions.

* rain mitts. I carry them though they are not needed 95% of the time. Perhaps drop them based on a last minute weather report.

There are others on this site with more WR years experience than I have. I hope they respond, too.

The Patagonia merino tops and bottoms seem heavy, especially the bottoms. I'm assuming you will use them as sleep clothes?

Thanks for the info John. Good call on bringing a few of these items and then dropping them if not needed due to weather conditions (rain mitts, head net).

Will bring a canister for the piezo stove I have. Planning on boiling water in the Ti mug.

Down jacket is hooded so I should be good there. Uber bivy does not use stakes. The neoair I have is the xtherm so I think I am covered from an insulation point.

Sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, sewing kit are all good adds. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Justin. Yeah the pategonia's are for sleeping – they are a midweight merino capilene blend.
