Howdy. Thanks for the kind words. I've been doing some day hikes with a friend from work; mostly Gorge hikes. We went up to Chinidere, Nick Eaton, stuff like that. I've managed a couple of overnights to Wahtum Lake and Paradise Park. My transportation is iffy so I used the SAM bus and Mt. Hood Xpress to get to Timberline for the Paradise Park trip. We really should set up a hike together as long as you don't mind waiting on a slow old man.
We were at Paradise Park the same weekend. Did you take the PP trailhead off of Road 39? Saw mama bear and cub morning of 7/5 there. Kelly
