I took my three year old son “camping” a couple weeks ago. This really isn’t a backpacking report, it more of a cute day I spent with my son on his first day hiking. He’s only three so this trip was tailored to his needs: a playground, a trail so he can see the “jungle”, a picnic area to setup the camping tent and sandwiches.
