Looking for some help here. I own both the MB Down Inner Half Sleeve (1.7 oz fill) and the MB Down Inner Parka (2.1 oz fill).
The Parka looks and feels as if there is hardly any fill in the down compartments, and doesn't puff up too much, while my Half Sleeve looks and feels as though it is bursting at the seams.
I am wondering if anyone in the MB store area can/or has already looked at the two side by side. I was assuming that the Parka would be as "puffy" as the half sleeve…so it was a little disappointing.
Any comments?

I just got a U.L. Down Inner Parka. It seems to have plenty of down for it's weight and intended use. It is meant to replace fleece, not to be a mountaineering jacket, so I didn't expect a whole lot of down. Mine has about a half inch or a little more of loft.

I'd suggest contacting MontBell if yours seems to have less than that.

hmmm, half inch eh? That's about what my Parka has. Thanks for the info pamela. Maybe my MB halfsleeve is overfilled? It has at least twice the loft of my parka.
Have you compared the parka side by side with the Inner jacket? Just curious now :)
