I'm looking for something to wear standing still in a blizzard of wet snow. I know most people go with Precip or another "waterproof"/"breathable", but I'm exploring my options. The pants must be full-zip.
So far the only option I've found with full-zip pants is MEC's Deluge 3: CA$143, 34 oz for the suit. (There are lighter jackets, like MEC's Torrent 3: $70, 13 oz.) Which is made of polyurethaned nylon.
Red Ledge's Storm suit might be another option, but I think the weight is similar.
Are there lighter options?
