Hi guys,
Does anyone have experience with the bug situation while canoeing and camping in Algonquin Provincial Park in mid-August? I'm trying to get a feel for what to expect regarding Mosquitoes and black flies. So far, I found this bit of information:
"Mosquitoes are abundant, beginning in mid to late May and last longer than blackflies (usually into July)" source: http://www.algonquinpark.on.ca/visit/park_management/mosquitoes-and-blackflies-(biting-insects).php
According to that info, the bugs should be gone in mid-August. Can anyone say for certain?
