Hi. I have a TI Goat Ptarmigan bivy. Earlier today I took it out of storage in my garage. I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and the top part of the bivy landed on a glue mouse trap. I got most of the glue off with moist towelettes. I washed it but there is still some sticky residue left. Luckily it only two small areas that are still sticky. Anything product I can safely use to get the remaining glue off?

Look for a true 100% "citrus oil" cleaner. It will remove most adhesives without harming the fabric or substrate.
Originally "CitriSolve" was the product of choice. Now, many are bogus and contain mostly petroleum solvents, scent, and color. I look for citrus "air freshener" for the bathroom, sold in "Health Food" stores . It comes in a small pump bottle or spray canister which makes application easy and controllable.
When you are done spot-wash the area with soap and water.
Hm…. I'm not sure about bivy fabric, so take this advice with a grain of salt (or test it beforehand on similar materials), but I've always used WD40 to get rid of sticky residue. Works surprisingly well, but I'm leering of saying it'd be absolutely safe for it.
TiGoats website doesn't seem to say definitively, but if there's a PU coat, I'm afraid WD40 might screw with it.
Something to consider at least. Maybe someone with more technical expertise can chime in.
Goo gone is a citrus base solvent that will work well. Test an out of the way place before using.
I was going to say Goo Gone as well. If all else fails, you could just powder it so it won't be sticky. Talcum, climbers chalk etc
Thanks for all the suggestions. I tried the Goo Gone and then washed the bivy. It worked and the glue is gone! No stains or weird odors.
