I just may finally pull the trigger and make a Cuben tarp.
I have a small .51 cuben tarp that I really don't like.
It's far too fragile and delicate for my liking.
So asking the question to anyone who may know the answer to this.
What is better CT2E .08 or CT1K .18?
CT1E .18 is what most manufactures use. It has a double thick laminate piece.
CT2E .08 Has the thinner laminate (like the .51 fabric) but has more Dyneema fibers.
So do manufactures use the CT1E .18 for any specific reason?
I would think the higher tear strength would be more important?
