The trade shows in the US and Europe will only start in a month or so, but here and there, there are already rumours about new gear for 2016 although it isn't officialy released yet. So maybe, such (substantial) rumours could be collected here for now ?
So let me start:
– the Rab Flashpoint will get a new, lighter version of Pertex Shield+.
– Montane adds a Minimus 777 jacket/smock in this Pertex Shield+.
– Montane redesigns the Air jacket with Pertex AP.
– Arc'teryx comes with the Acrux AR GTX mountain boot, the non-waterproof low-cut Acrux SL approach shoe and the Arakys approach/crag shoe/slipper.

– Arc'teryx Atom SL hoody at 250g/8,8oz.
Any more info on this? Same fill weight as the Atom lt I hope? Still coreloft?
I have no details yet except that it uses Coreloft and has air-permeable, fleecy side-panels.
I don't know. I mean, the Atom LT is a bit more than 350gr. instead of the new SL's 250gr. Being roughly 100gr. lighter would be quite a feat if it was the same fill weight.
Lighter face fabric, fill and I think just one chest pocket.
What weight of fill ?
Arc'Teryx is just WAAAAY to 'pensive for my taste.
I can afford it but why do so when there are so many other very good jackets and parkas out there for much less.
I've seen Dead Bird military GTX parkas and pants that, as a suit, were over $1,000. Now that's as silly as it gets.

Actually, if you compare to some of the more expensive women’s gear — Dead Bird is really very reasonable! :)
Weight is 285g/10 oz. for the men's medium and 250g/8,8oz. for the women's medium.
40g/m² Coreloft
Two zippered pockets.
"40g/m² Coreloft"
So, it's essentially uninsulated?
Not exactly and if my calculations are wright, this Atom SL is still a bit warmer then the Montbell UL Thermawrap with the updated Exeloft.
It's like the BD 40g piece
Isn't Coreloft still a 2-fibre insulation? Exceloft is now a 3-fibre akin to Primaloft Gold I think.
Coreloft has indeed 2. Exeloft now 3. Gold has certainly 2, but I'm not sure it has 3.
Watch Gossamer Gear
– Columbia WPB Outdry Extreme (possibly a very interesting evolution)
– the Patagonia Houdini appears to get an update: a bit lighter at 110 grams, a vertical chest pocket and perhaps the fabric.

– Hilleberg Niak 1,5 with Kerlon 600 and a 1,6 kg. weight, a Tarp 5 at 320 grams and the 14 person Stalon XL at 20,7 kg.
"Watch Gossamer Gear"
For what?
Watch Gossamer Gear for ultra light kit.
OK, some more news about Arc'reyx:
– their athletic fit is renamed in regular fit
– new women's fit for bottoms
– 11,8 oz. Psiphon FL Hoody stretch woven softshell
– 9,3 oz. Nuclei SL jacket with 60g/m² Coreloft
– Pelion Comp L/S and S/S shirts with Nucliex 150 merino-nylon blend (150g/m²)
– updated Palisade with back pocket
EDIT: the Rampart is also updated and gets a trim fit.
Happy about the palisade getting the back pocket back.
Not on their website yet…hopefully soon.
that redesign is for S16 so won't be on their website untill early 2016.
Woubeir, helpful as ever. Do I get the sense you have a workbook nearby? Wouldn't happen to have a PDF copy lying about, would you? ;)
Failing that, a couple of questions:
– Are color options staying the same as Fall 15 for Alpha SV, Alpha AR and Nuclei AR?
– Does the Nuclei SL replace the FL, or is the Nuclei series now a SL-FL-AR lineup?
– Any changes to the Gamma pant lineup?
-Phoenix (red) for the Alpha AR disappears, the other color options for these jackets don't change. – Nuclei SL doesn't replace the FL. – no changes to the Gamma pants lineup. But this is what Arc offers to retailers, and retailers can choose to buy it or not. If not a single retailer decides to offer it, it could be that Arc decides not to produce it (happened before, although in the pre-direct selling days). And yes, I have their workbook, even in PDF. :-)
