Hello all!
I had plans to through hike the Rangeley High Peaks over 3 days with a day hike of the 4000's in Bigelow the following day, with help from a friend in Portland who was going to provide shuttle service for me. However a recent event in his family has forced him out of being able to provide this help.

I was wondering if there was either anyone that had any interest in joining me and my very friendly hiking dog in this adventure, or if anyone is reasonably close and would be willing to provide some shuttle service?

My plan is to drive up Thursday(2015-06-25) from Boston and begin at the Rte 4/Madrid AT crossing point and end at the Rtes 16/27 AT crossing point on Saturday. Then doing a day hike the following day up to West Peak and Avery Peak Sunday. An offer to help shuttle me on either Thursday or Saturday would also be great!

Thanks!

I don't check this list very often so I missed your post. I hike in that area as much as I can; I really like the Bigelow Preserve. I plan to kayak through Flagstaff lake from Stratton to the Eastern end of the lake and back sometime before September. The fishing is pretty good along the shore and from the islands as well as at Horse Pond which must be stocked. If you end up heading back that way send me a message maybe we can work out a shuttle. I'm also planning a hike further north near Lower Jo-Mary Lake. Hope all is well.
