I completed this trip June 13-15, for those interested in finding out about snow levels in this area. I have a buddy who went out just this past weekend and encountered deep snow around 11,000′ in the Marvine Lakes region.
“The time window for another trip happened to occur during spring peak runoff. The water flow in the local rivers this year had spiked anywhere from one to two weeks later than the historical 30-year median. With deep snow still abundant in the high alpine, Tanner and I aimed to walk the lower elevations of the Flat Tops.”
