If you piled a bunch of snow up to make a wall around your pyramid tent, would that work for blown snow? Or would the wind just blow away the snow wall eventually?

It works for a while. Just how long depends on the wind speed. My walls were being blown away in about 2 hours – and I was trying. Since then I have added a sod cloth at the windward end -it works fine.
Bear in mind that you are going to lose a lot of floor space in any tarp-like tent or pyramid tent when the wind gets up. The wind pressure can be quite high.
