Anyone interested in a family friendly trip this August?
My thoughts are to keep this hike lowish in daily mileage to accommodate a wide range of abilities and interests.
My thoughts were:
Day 1 (Friday) – Hike Southbound on the PCT from Chinook Pass to Dewey Lake. Not too far, some do-able climbing with pretty views, and then disperse our campsites around the lake and surrounding area.
Day 2 – Spend the day day-hiking, fishing, hammocking, geo caching, etc.
Day 3 – Hike out and complete Naches Loop.
I'm not married to this location but it was the first one that came to mind. The weekend of August 9th doesn't work for me as that's Thing 2's birthday but the other weekends would be fine.
