I telephoned the woman who modified my Virga pack. She moved a few months ago to the San Francisco Bay Area and has had to leave her industrial sewing machine in storage until her old house sells and she can move into a new house. This may be several months, she thinks. So I'm unable to make a referral to her at this point.
By the way, when I last dealt with her, I shipped her my pack, and she got it back to me quickly. I told her tonight that when she retrieves her equipment, I'd like her to modify another pack of mine.
Since you guys are shipping packs anyway, if you need work done sooner than she gets up and running I would recommend Boulder Mountain Repair in Boulder Colorado. I have had a pair of soft shell pants altered and can't even tell that it was done. They will sew just about anything you can think of. Their prices are reasonable (not as high as they could charge in my opinion but don't tell them that).
