Has anybody ordered one of these? Climb Max offered a pre-sale that caught me in a weak moment. Usually I resist new technology as evidenced by my land line/rotary phone, but my mother (mind you, I'm 40!) and my husband suffer extreme anxiety when I hike solo so this seemed a very useful toy.
The talk certainly dropped off to nothing some time after the SPOT was announced. Maybe that is due to the early review on equipped.org. Let us know what you think of it.
