Went out on a party boat from Destin, FL on Wednesday with a friend. We go every year when visiting the beach.
Can't say I'm wild about fishing, just love riding the top deck on the boat(good thing, since I never catch any big fish!), but did snag two decent red snapper at the same time, and thought it was pretty cool…
Limit was 2 reds per person, and I got 3 while my friend got another that were all about the same size. Not counting the stuff that got thrown back we also had about 9 vermillion snapper, plus a Porgy that I caught early on. The last 3 red snapper coming near the end of the day kind of saved the trip.
We did really poorly compared to normal, and still only ended up with about 11 pounds worth of filets, but had a lot of fun.
