Woodgas Cup stove.

After cleaning up all of the sticks and wood in my garden I realized I aught to utilize it. I sacrificed my stainless steel breakfast bowl and a stainless steel funnel I found that fit. After playing with the design and drilling more and more holes into it I got it to boil 16ounces of water in 10 minutes and four cups of water in about 20 minutes then went out. Perfect for boil a full 1.3 pot for only 30 seconds of looking for dry twigs.

Weighs 3ounces and is in need of a pot stand so I don't trash my windscreen some more. Was thinking about doing a Titanium Z stand with notches on the bottom to rest on the edges, any ideas?

Because you have charcoal left over instead of ash, I say you need more incoming air under the grate. My motto….never deny your stove oxygen :-)

you were very right, I doubled the intake holes, cleaned it all up, put wire legs on my windscreen and added a center wire stem to ensure there is air flow in the beginning.

boils water in less than 8 minutes and keeps a flame until 12 minutes. the embers stop boiling the water at 25 minutes.

a lot better than paying for one that weighs 6plus ounces. Very compact and fits in my snow peak bowl.
