Well i am going backpacking like i said in my other Yosemite forum the 28-2 so 3 nights pretty much. The shoes i have right now are these hi-techs

They are water proof and i have broken in.The ones i was thinking about getting are these.

A bit warmer but not sure if it will make a big difference. I could just wear thicker socks. please give me your input about these shoes, or maybe a suggestion to a different shoe. Thanksandrew
p.s. i will be going to merced lake from happy isle, and i heard they were getting snow this weekended. Not sure how much but just to let you know.
