Hi May,

I tried to place an order earlier but the discount didn't come up when I entered the promo code. Did you guys sell your sale limit or am I screwing something up on my end?

When I apply the code, the price actually increases.

Before entering code:

cart1

After entering code:cart2

The first 20 get a discount, after that they up the price to send Roger a bribe to for an exception to his BPL only rule.

That's … cute … :-)
Ah – did you login first? There is a message telling you that you have to do this on the 2nd screen.
I dunno, just wondering.

Cheers

Roger, how dare you! This rude behavior needs to stop! Do you honestly think I'm incapable of following simple instructions.,,

Actually yeah, that's exactly what the problem was. Thanks May… and Roger.

Hi Ian,

I'm really sorry if this time you don't get that price, but $2.29 still a good price too.

I will Pm you to check your problem.

Hi May,

I was trying to be funny and was joking. I was able to order the flashlight at the discounted price after I set up my account.

Just received this flashlight in the mail. 2.2 ounces on my scale with Enloop Pro battery.

My initial impression of it is that the quality far exceeds reasonable expectations for a $1.49 flashlight.

Clicky cap is recessed enough that I'm not too concerned about it clicking on in my pocket or on my vest at work. I will carry it daily for the next month or so to see how it works out.

Edit to add: I have no way to measure it but I do have a flashlight I carry at work that's rated by Streamlight as 630 lumens, and this doesn't seem half as bright. I'll try again later with other batteries to see if it makes a difference.

I carried this almost every day since I've received it as a back up flashlight for work and as an EDC flashlight when not at work. I've used to to walk through the woods and to illuminate trees when doing long exposure photography at night.

Externally, the build quality is fine. No issues with the clip bending although the bezel ring tends to come loose and I have to tighten it from time to time.

600 lumens? No. I have a 630 lumen Streamlight flashlight at work and this isn't in the same zipcode of brightness. But, I don't need 600 lumens for what I need this flashlight to do so that really didn't bother me.

It finally died this week. Light doesn't come on every time I click it, if at all, so off to the trash bin it goes.

I feel like I got my $1.50 out of it but I don't want to buy a replacement flashlight every month or two, so I think this flashlight falls under "you get what you pay for" and a reminder to "buy quality less often."

It has a great feel, and is a nice size, so I do wish them well in future design modifications.

Even if I fixed it, I wouldn't trust it.
