I'd be very tempted by these if I didn't own both packs already in the standard materials.

Damn them!
Looks like they save about 2 ounces over the stock Robic, with pretty much the same cost if they get 8 takers.
Seems to be moving pretty quick.
That's a steal for those packs. Think I paid $325 for my Cuben Circuit a year ago.

Great deal!
My only question is, is it a wise trade-off? The cuben Catalyst looks to be only about 2 ounces lighter, and I wonder how much less resistant to snagging and especially abrasion?
Anyone with actual experience want to chime in?
I had the ZPacks Arc Blast, and found the cuben hybrid material to be extremely tough, and its water proof. I also like the color options for the cuben catalyst pack. It's a great deal !!
Nice.
So the ULA Circuit is no longer available in dyneema gridstop? The standard fabric is Robic with the cross hatch?

Richard-
The 3.3oz cuben hybrid will not be nearly as abrasion resistant as the standard Robic nylon that ULA uses. It will, however, not retain any water weight when it rains and can be taped which makes them fairly water resistant. And of course are slightly lighter. In the SE where I hike, we have lots of rain and zero granite so cuben hybrid is a perfect match.

I think that's correct.

How much were these?
They were offered for $225 and $250 respectively, $100 off the normal price. However they only had one per size / colour available, and the mediums and most of the larges were all gone within the first couple of hours. The way the drop was written, it suggested you could specify size / colour when you ordered, and there were some grumpy comments from folks who found out that wasn't the case.
