Hi All!

I’ve been sewing away, keeping up with bag orders and playing around with design.

I’ve moved through nearly all of my Hybrid Cuben, which is awesome. Thanks everyone! I have enough fabric cut to make 5 more hybrid 50d/150d Packs, so get them while they’re still here. I can’t promise when I’ll order more Cuben, so it may be quite a while before this bag is offered again in this ultralight fabric combo.

And on to Xpac! I’ve got X33 Multicam in stock and let me tell you this stuff is AWESOME! it’s quite a bit more durable than Heavyweight Cuben Hybrid and X21. The tradeoff is a bit of weight(2-3oz for a typical Highline build), but those that put their gear through heavy use are happy to oblige.X331

I also have a tiny bit of High-Bias Cuben in Multicam. (Enough to make a pack or two depending on specs) This stuff is bombproof, weighs in at just under 2.6oz/yd2. Inquire within if you want to be the only kid on the block with a piece of kit made from this ultra-rare unobtanium. A pack made from a combo of X33 and this stuff would be pretty amazing. Just saying..cubenHB

Been looking at trends, and it seems most folks are paying extra for seam taping, so I may make that a built-in feature.

Great feedback on packs thus far, and I’m excited to be sharing this adventure with you all.

Lots of interest in Front Compression Packs. They’re $30 and $40 for single and double zippered/pocketed X21 versions.
They look like this:frontpack1frontpack2

Thinking about moving my model away from semi-custom and having standard bags I run production on (say build 3 sizes and can just pump them out) versus having everything built to order. That way, folks that want a customized bag can get it. But those that fit into the trends that I run production around won’t have to wait 3+ weeks to get a bag in the mail.

Cuben Shelters coming in June or July, likely a modified ‘mid similar to the SL2 and some simple cat cut and flat tarps. I’ve got a source for TITANIUM grommets, and I’m excited to build them into my ultralight shelters.

Webbing, ribbon, and more cordage will be available through the store soon(within a week), for all those wanting something to thread through all the buckles you buy. :)

Oooh! And Duffel Bags coming soon!!!(cuz sometimes we need something light and durable to carry our non-hiking gear in)

Don’t forget about the stuff sack packs, they’re just as amazing before!

Oh yeah, on to the deals:

Free Shipping on Orders over $30 with coupon: FREESHIP515

And

All Highline or Lowline packs will ship with a free 50 feet of our ultralight spectra cord in your choice of black or yellow.

And

$5 off any Front compression pack purchase!!

Wooooo!!

Just saying… Looks sweet. Dare I say gentrified. Very tempting. New pack or taxes, unfortunatly taxes or fortunatly if you're a Democrat, taxes come first this month. Looking forward to pictures.

Maybe it's a coincidence but I just received notification from Cascade Craftworks that my blue Highline with a single zipper pouch is in the mail. I think that's mine….Woooo indeed!

Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't see the front compression packs on the website, am I missing something?

They're a custom Option. Added via the custom Gear charge item. You chose fabric and zipper options and I build to order.
