Transportation Wawona Hotel to Fresno Airport

Other than having a Taxi or Uber come from Fresno, there's not a lot of options. You may want to try calling The Redwoods vacation rentals in Wawona((877) 753-8566) and see if they have any recommendations. They may know of someone in the area who's willing to drive you to Fresno for a fee. The other option is taking the bus to Fresno on Saturday and spending the night there.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to cancel my Wawona reservation and take the bus back to Fresno after we hike the four mile trail to Glacier Point on Saturday. I was hoping to check out the Mariposa Grove giant sequoias and the Wawona hotel, oh well maybe next time. Thanks again for the help.

That's what I'd do – get to Fresno the night before a 12:30 pm flight. I'd be too nervous about relying on hitch hiking to get that far that far, that quickly even with all the HHing tricks I know. You wouldn't be able to get to Mariposa Grove anyway. The Grove is closed to traffic and the shuttles have stopped running from Wawona They're doing major renovations to the roads and trails up there and it will be closed for two years.
