Finally got around to testing my BD Firstlight in bad weather: forecast said clear at first, then rain starting up sometime after midnight, with temps in the 40s.
Nearby weather station reports that continuous rain started a bit before 4am, and by the time I finally woke up at 8am, the tent was still completely dry, although the walls were noticeably damp to the touch. Any objects that were wedged firmly up against the wall probably would have become somewhat damp. (Though being only 5'8" and by myself, this was not an issue.)
Rain has now continued for a couple hours since I came inside, so I'll head back out at some point to see if the continued rain has made any difference. But so far, the Firstlight seems sufficiently water resistant to make it through some significantly wet weather.
