It'll be $35 off (plus free shipping) if a few more people sign up to purchase.

I saw this. I was a little concerned about the lack of pockets though.

Richie – I've talked with Luke's Ultralite and we agreed to add the option of pockets on this jacket, also at a discount.

I went for it since they added the option for zippered hand pockets. Hopefully a few more commit so we can get another $15 price drop.

Only 1 more person needs to join the Drop to make it a success, but time is limited. The Drop ends tonight at midnight PST!

I received my jacket and paid an extra $20 for what were clearly labeled "zippered hand pockets" and the pockets i received are not zippered. I e-mailed Massdrop about it almost 48 hours ago and no response. SInce I posted on teh discussion page for the item, they updated the description to read "stealth hand pockets". This seems a bit shady to me as there has been no reply to my inquiry but t hey went ahead and updated the page once called out about the discrepancy. Some may think it is a trivial matter, but when I buy a $270 jacket, I expect to get what was promised.

EDIT:
Within 10 minutes of posting on Massdrop's page asking them what the issue is, my e-mail was miraculously replied to. This is the response I received:

I hope this email finds you well! I'm reaching out in regards to your order for the Lukes Ultralite Pertex Down Jacket, more specifically regarding the pocket upgrade you had selected as an option. We just received word from our vendor that they had decided to add stealth pockets instead of zippered. Though this is an improvement, we understand that this is not what you had joined and ordered!

So they are alleging that the vendor decided they didn't want to do zippered pockets and just didn't do the work.

Yeah – I did as well. They have offered to change them to zippered pockets. I'm not too worried, but a zip would have allowed the jacket to stuff into one of the pockets, which I'm a big fan of.

I didn't contact massdrop but I think I got the same email.

Not sure how "stealth" is an improvement over zippered. I'm a little concerned about losing head through the pocket, but it's tricky to tell in an Austin summer.

It is a little weird that they specifically offered zippered pockets rather than just pockets and then change their minds without telling anyone – but the jacket is nice.

Luke, himself, is very good to deal with. Seems to be some sort of mixup with Massdrop. I find Lukes photography doesn't do justice to his clothing. The stuff always looks nicer up front.

In the time between massdrop orders
And Shipment I had a new pocket design that not only in my opinion looked better but was alot stronger as well. it was my decision to implement immediately wanting to be the best it could. this was not the fault of massdrop and my responsibility. if for any reason the couple of guys that got pockets are not happy just shoot me an email and I'll make it so.
