Arrived today, yipee!

weighed it, to spec at 19 oz
inflated and measured it, to spec at 23" width

So that's good. Buy lying on it I'm afraid what I really want is the not-yet-in-existence Klymt Lite Insulated *Luxury* V-static. Patience. (they only just came out with the lite insulated and the insulated luxury. all three is the logical next step…i hope)

Giving it a test car camping this weekend. Justified my purchase by letting me husband claim the really cushy car-camping pad for this trip!

Hi Katherine – I realize this is a few years old, but I’ve been looking at this pad. Curious about your experience… How has it held up?

omgosh this is my old post! I returned it because it wasn’t compatible with quilt use. See those big welded spots? Cold comes up through them unless you have your bag filling them in. Klymt’s web copy makes it sound like that’s bonus insulation, but in my one-night test it was lacking.

As a bag user it may be just fine. Cushioning-wise it was adequate — neither memorably more or less comfortable than my NeoAir. Sound wise it doesn’t make that crinkle but it did make some bizarro suction-y fart noises.
