Bravo,

If you are ever thinking of doing this as a side business I would love a 3/4 inner for my Hilleberg Unna.

many thanks for the comments,

It has a unique shortening system at the top, you can tension each seam independently,

Hooks on at the top to the TS hook or a system that attaches to your walking pole at various heights.

It has adjustable tie outs that go through the seams so distance to the fly can be adjusted from the inside.

Aluminum bars in the corners of the slim bathtub floor.
Dyneema tieout at the corners with mini ITW Lineloc
No.3 ykk double slider zips that go all the way to corners. With cord pulls.
x2 light weight door tie backs per door.
x2 bungee 2mm tieouts on frontedge to go to front mitten hook in TS.
Internal hook for hanging lantern.
70D PU Ripstop floor 5000hh quiet no rustle, non slip.
Pertex wind shield with DWR coating.
x2 internal pockets in corners.
Ultrafine midge netting, to stop insects smaller than mosquitoes.
All vertical seams bias binding for strength
All horizontal seams flat felled seams.

Overall it was a lot of work, dont thing I would like to do it on a regular basis, its a lot of pressure making for someone else, trying to get everything perfect, its always on your mind to finish it. It took about 4 weeks to complete some evenings and weekends. If I was making it full time I would say it would take about 8 days work.

:)

I mostly use a hammock now days and I like to DIY all my gear, but you've got me intrigued with that net tent. I may just have to give that a go next winter. My DIY gear all works fine, but it ain't that pretty.
Great craftsmanship!!

Gary,

That is one sophisticated piece of equipment! I am beyond impressed. It is the most detailed and precise MYOG project I have seen here.

Congratulations. Some tent company should be making you offers.

Thank you for taking the time to share.

Derrick
