Thanks for taking a look at this post. I am headed out in 2 weeks to start the season and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions about my list. This kit should be good down to freezing and would be for typical spring weather in the NE. Thanks for looking

3 Season List

Good list. I was a little surprised at the lower pack base weight with all of that stuff. (I mean that in a positive way.)

I like the beer can pot/wing stove. I made one I like to bring sometimes, but the BPA liner thing keeps me from using it more often.

Here's what I'd maybe change, just based on my personal preferences:

maybe add glove liners, especially on colder trips (military wool liners are great for handling a hot pot briefly)

backup fire lighting method (mini Bic and firesteel for me)

2l Platypus for camp water

@Andy – Thanks, I try to make an accurate list of what is coming with me and it ends up looking like a lot of stuff. As for mittens, I was planning on making a pair this weekend based on the pattern at Thru-Hiker.com. Also, I bring 2 bics with me so that I have a backup.
