Looking for a little help here on what the diaameter of your current hiking pole is. I realize that they taper from the top to the bottom, so to keep things simple, let's say I am mostly interested in the area that is 6 inches below the handle.
You probably are wondering why…well I am working on a new product that will use this upper section to attach to and while I currently have "some" flexibility on size built into the design, it would be ideal to fit all the poles on the market.
I'm guessing that 3/8" to 5/8" will cover nearly everything but any chance a couple of you want to take some measurements?
Gossamer Gear LT4's?
Ruta Locura Poles?
Flikloks?
Komperdells?
etc….Thanks!

Black Diamond Contour Flick Lock is a smidgen more than 11/16"
Measured 6 inches below the handle with cheap calipers.

and Bob…thanks, I think ;)
I also measured my komperdells at 0.65" so it looks like most of them are closer in size than I had initially estimated…which is a good thing.
Keep them coming if possible!
Apr 4, 2015 at 6:28 pm #2189158It appears that both my Leki Makalu and Black Diamond Traverse are 5/8 of an inch in diameter. (Note: this was done with a plastic caliper at 6 inches below the handle on both)

Apr 5, 2015 at 5:55 am #21892456" below the handle the OD measures Ø0.4595" (averaged, the bookends are @ .4590" – .4600").
