First, I'm new here and trying to make my first backpack so I apologize if I'm doing this all wrong ;). I've tried searching the forum for this information but couldn't find it but maybe I just don't know the right terms to use. I am following all of the great advice on this forum to build a backpack. I want it to be like one I have but using a different material and hopefully a bit 'sleaker' look. I'm not trying to figure out what I need to get to make a rail slider for the chest strap like the one in this picture:
This slider is a plastic clip that hooks over some sort of piping and slides up and down to adjust the height of the chest strap. Does anyone know where I can find the parts to do this or even what the parts would be called (both the clip and the piping)? Any other ideas that accomplish the same thing?
