I am planning to thru-hike in 2008. I was wondering when the 2008 AT data books come out, or are we suppose to use the 2007 AT data books? Thanks.

The "official" AT Data book by the ATC comes out sometime in January or February. AT least that's when the local REI seems to get it. ATC members might get a heads up on it, but I'm not sure.
